To reach out to people directly or indirectly affected by incarceration, that would receive the love and provision that is found only in Jesus Christ.
PBC Vision
The Bible says to visit those is prison and sympathize with them as though you were their fellow prisoners. There is a dire need for the church of Jesus Christ to provide for the spiritual and practical needs of those affected by incarceration. Inmates and their families are usually bankrupt monetarily and spiritually. Most have no support or resources. Pardoned by Christ Ministry is dedicated to facilitating these provisions through ministry events, bible studies, mentoring, practical serving, and giving financially. Pardoned by Christ Ministry desires to partner with existing churches and ministries to meet the needs of those involved. Bottom line is the restoration of lives affected by incarceration. Lives reconciled to the Kingdom of God and to the community in which we live.
PBC Ministry
Jesus commands us to do whatever it takes to aid and assist the needs of an individual
or family affected by incarceration. This is not the duty of the Department of Correction
or the taxpayers. It is mandated in the bible that the church of Jesus Christ is
to fill this role. The attitude of defiance, “they deserve what they got”, “don’t
do the crime if you can’t do the time” or indifference, “it’s not my problem“; is
disobedience to Christ. Brother and sisters, I say this to encourage your hearts
and bring joy to our Lord. Paul wrote to Philemon, “I pray you will active in sharing
your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have
in Christ”. It’s to our benefit and joy to give out of all we have been given! Believe
me ya“ll, you will be amazed how God will use you. There is no greater fulfillment
to be used by the King of Kings:)
Matt. 25:26 “I needed clothes and you clothed me,
I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me”.
Heb.

Acts 16:25
About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other
prisoners were listening to them”.

Jesus clearly wants his church to meet
the physical and spiritual needs of those in prison. The needs are tremendous, particularly
when an inmate transitions from prison to society. Most inmates have no family, financial,
or church support when they get out. They need close fellowship with Jesus and other
believers first and foremost. We need to stand with them. Extreme temptation exists.
They don’t have enough money to get a car or make a rent deposit. You can’t get a
driver’s license unless you have an address. There are some “half-
